On the afternoon of 16 April 2019, Chris Chavez, President of Herzing University’s Atlanta campus, and Dr Xintao Liu visited Zhengzhou College of Finance and Economics (ZCFE). They were welcomed by President Yu Xiangying, Executive Vice-President Li Qingyang and Wang Yanzhen, Director of the International Affairs Office.

 Discussions and Cooperation Agreement

During the meeting, representatives of the two institutions introduced their institutional development, academic strengths and international cooperation activities. They discussed opportunities for cooperation in business and computing and signed a cooperation agreement.

Exchanges with Faculty Members and Students

Mr Chavez and Dr Liu also met with participants in the university’s English Corner, English preparation programme for overseas study and doctoral study preparation class for faculty members.

 Mr Chavez commended the campus environment, teaching facilities and students’ commitment to learning. He highlighted common interests in curriculum design and approaches to preparing graduates. He expressed the hope that future cooperation would help students develop innovative thinking, interdisciplinary knowledge and the ability to work across cultures.
